Keep A Melody Ringing is how the Barbershop Harmony Society honors those who have given their voice to this community - a way for family, friends, and fellow singers to give in their memory and, together, work toward placing their name on the Harmony Hall plaque, our most lasting tribute to those we've loved and lost.
A permanent online memorial
Every eligible member can have their own searchable, shareable memorial page on the BHS website - a place that lasts.
Give in their memory
Family, friends, and fellow singers can give at any amount, and choose the impact area that reflects what they cared about most. By default, gifts support the BHS General Endowment.
The Harmony Hall plaque
When a memorial reaches $1,000, the member's name is added to the Harmony Hall plaque at BHS headquarters in Nashville - and the family and chapter are notified.
For Families
The Barbershop Harmony Society is home to thousands of singers who have dedicated years - sometimes lifetimes - to this art form. When one of those singers is gone, the community feels it.
